What our Clients Say
We left Peter Temple sitting in the middle of our 200 year old stone barn, just four walls and half a roof and by the end of the day he emerged with a grand design.
Throughout the build very little changed from that original idea. We now have a stunning barn conversion in the Dordogne completed on time and in budget by Peter and his very hard working, exceptionally tidy team of builders.
La Petite Grange
When asked to look at a proposed barn conversion in the Dordogne, France, we first thought of the many difficulties of working in a totally different environment. But after one site visit the project was deemed to be a ‘must do’.
The building, built into a steep bank on bedrock, lent itself to a design where the split level, open plan had entry / exit from four levels, all directly to the external ground level – very unique.
The roof timbers were amazing; in particular the section on the hipped roof above the new fireplace. We were eager to show our French counterparts what we could do and worked closely with French roofers, plumbers and electricians, where a good working relationship formed. The project was completed in 24 weeks.
